Family Days Out

Ferry Farm Nottinghamshire is the perfect place for both school visits and family days out. We have a range of activities from playing in our indoor activity centre to feeding the animals. A family day out that is entertaining and educational. You will find a friendly environment that provides a relaxing and entertaining atmosphere.

Restaurant

Why not visit our restaurant to finish off a great family day out. Our restaurant is well known for its home made food, set in an old milking parlour with a new oak extension for 2005.
We also cater for special occasions, weddings, older people's birthdays, anniversaries or just a get together.  You can tailor your menu to suit or eat off the board.

In the Farmyard

Here you will find various breeds of sheep, cattle and goats in the paddocks; Casper – a miniature Shetland Pony (only 27 inches high); highland cows have had some calves calves,and plenty of new born lambs, you can also feed the fish in the pond, carp are the most likley to take bread from the water, the donkey family is always ready to greet you with their 2 foals.
 
Barn

Our large wooden barn has new born animals. You can touch and see piglets, baby goats, guinea pigs, rabbits and calves, and you can bottle feed the lambs. (Seasonal). There is aways something new to see.

Feeding

An assortment of animal foods is available from the entrance desk. When in season, bottle feeding of the lambs is available
